Your Trusted Doctor & Animal Advocate
My background is in medicine and women’s health, having studied for both degrees at King’s College London.
Although I love my job as an NHS GP and urgent care doctor, I realised the limitations of what we were learning. Why were we not taught about preventative medicine? Why were we not taught about sustainability and the importance of protecting our environment? Why were we not taught about compassion to all beings, and not solely the patient in front of us?
It became clear that we were not being told the whole story, and I began to do my own homework. I began to make the connections.
Choosing Compassion
Using a combination of my background as a GP, and my personal experience as a vegan activist and life-long health enthusiast, I work to support individuals with my newly released book on how to thrive and live well as animal rights activists.
Personalized Consultations
Online and in person consultations for animal rights activists. These can be either short sessions or a full day session to work on your physical, social and mental health goals.
Protect The Wild
Protect the Mind — a mental health support initiative designed to provide tools and resources to those protecting animals and wildlife. I’ve partnered with the incredible conservation organisation Protect The Wild to deliver a series of pre-recorded video sessions.
Events & Talks
I offer various talks and events around the UK. Buckets of Love is my fundraising organisation where we run events such as cinema screenings, litter-picking walks, activist wellbeing days, drum and bass raves, skydives, and second-hand stalls to raise money for various charities.
What I offer
My Story
At the age of ten I stopped eating animals, and then turned vegan during my last years of university. Becoming a vegan activist was the best decision I ever made. I have the most incredible community, and I am empowered and motivated to protect our fellow animals. I hope that I can help you on this journey too.
I started doing charity work and set up a fundraising organisation, Buckets of Love. We support the first vegan school in Uganda, Atlas Vegan Community School, for which I am on the board of directors. We also have built three wells to provide clean water to villages in Tamil Nadu, India.
I became a climate and environmental advocate, with a specific focus on ocean life. I am now a PADI scientific divemaster, and volunteer annually to take out groups of conservationists on marine projects.
I have hosted large scale talks about veganism for the NHS, Royal College of GP’s, Eco Medics, Plant Based Health Professionals, Boomtown Festival, Vegfest, Protect The Wild, Plant Based Treaty UK and more. I am currently taking a masters in Global Health Policy with a focus on further dismantling animal agriculture- until every cage is empty.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you need advice about how to become a healthy and happy vegan activist! We are all on this journey to make the world a better place together. Collectively, we will not be silenced.

What They Say
"The sessions with Ishani are amazing. I came across Ishani at the perfect time as I was really struggling having recently found out what was happening to animals, then going vegan. She is so kind and understanding- after every session I come away feeling really positive. I am able to look forwards for the animals, rather than constantly feeling mortified which probably isn’t practical for them. I look forward to every session and am really appreciative of the opportunity to have them!”
WTF Activist
"Even spending a small amount of time with Ishani has had a maximum impact on my life."

“Ishani’s well-being sessions were so helpful for me as someone who is a vegan activist and has ADHD. My issues revolved around vystopia and conflict in relationships. Ishani listened without judgement and offered some ideas to work through the discomfort. I never felt rushed during our time together. She was kind throughout with splashes of humour added in which is just what I needed. I’m so grateful for the sessions she provided.”
